Tell us about your latest song, EP, or album.
My first in making songs that can actually touch people. I have a message to deliver and this is my way. The song money is about real experiences that a lot of people have to face. This is my attempt in trying to make a difference.
Are there any challenging aspects to writing and/or recording your music?
Yes, I am not a very good singer. And I do everything alone, from writing, recording, composing, editing and mixing/mastering. That means it is not really perfect. Totally not. But it´s fine, my message is more important than any fame to me.
Has your style evolved since the beginning of you career?
Yes, very much. I wouldn´t call it a career. Music was foremost a ventile for me. Releasing steam, be it with my guitar in a moshpit or hammering drums. But I always listened to a lot of different music styles. So I started to play more funk and hip hop. After so many years just making something here and there I decided to make a bit more mature songs and implement my messages in it.
What do you enjoy most about being a musician?
Being free in releasing emotions. Possibly improving other peoples lifes by it.
Playing live or recording in studio? Do you have a preference?
Studio, Studio, Studio. But sure, live is important too and could be quite interesting
Do you have a preference… vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, or downloads?
Growing up with cassettes and cd´s, I´m now rather happy with vinyls and downloads tbh.
Tell about a magical moment or positive experience that has happened through music.
A friend of mine once told me, that everytime she hears my song “One Minute Away” it gives her a kick in the right direction. That was nice.
Are there any musicians who inspire you? What qualities do you admire about them?
A lot. Actually everyone with real determination other than just being famous. I´m inspired by Biggie and Tupac as well as Freddie Mercury or Elton John. They went their way despite any obstacles.
Would you like to travel to other countries to perform your music? If so, what would be your first stop?
Totally, I traveled a bit during my worklife and had the opportunity to improve other peoples lifes by that, so that would be amazing. It would be breathtaking to play in NY or Cali, that´s what dreams are for…
Are you currently working on any projects we should look out for?
There are constantly new songs coming, and maybe even a new album this year.
